(2021) Original Character - Salis

A man (or cat,) based off of Théophile Steinlen's 'Tournée du Chat Noir,' one of my favorite pieces advertising 'Le Chat Noir,' which is thought to be the first modern cabaret. I named him Theo Salis-- after both the artist, and the original cabaret owner. Theo combines cat-cafe with night-cafe, and despite the notoriously high population of criminals that frequent the cabaret-- every cat in the building is treated with respect. Otherwise, Theo might set you up in a death match-- the nightly entertainment.
