(2014 - 2019) Original Character - Goro

Goro is probably my most loved original character. In this collection, you can see how my art has developed over the years, and a sample of the styles I'm able to produce. (And that doesn't stop here, oh no!)

Goro was based upon the concept of the big bad wolf-- but is actually just an extremely happy puppy on the inside. Instead of howling at the moon, he sings death metal at the moon. This was inspired by a song performed by favorite musician at the time, Konori-P, (though he is inactive now, he is still beloved!) so I like to imagine that Goro has Konori's singing voice in this particular song. (The song was「最果ての月」from Hatsuki Yura's Gothika.) If you know anything about Konori, you'd know how goofy he is... And this endearing trait really stuck with me, so I included it in Goro's character, as a tribute to a musician whose music has stuck with me for years, and has had a great impact on my life.
